CLOUD Vasco Pay ton informs us that Pease, aged 83 years and 2 months, died at Citronelle, Alabama, the third day of last March. He lived on the Josh Hendricks place, three miles east of Welch, for many years, and did his trading in Chetopa, being well acquainted with nearly everyone in this section. He went to Citronelle, Ala, about 15 years ago, for his health, whera he purchased a farm, and did well at dairying, and other farming opera tions. He leaves his wife and two sons. A paper was sent to an old friend near Welch giving the newa of his death, but it was mislaid ithout opening, and as not found until last week.
