Sprague was born in Cateragus county, New York, May 29, 1843 and died at Haddam, Kansas, June 1, 1919, aged 76 years and three days. When a small child she moved with her parents to Wisconsin and from there to Indiana, where she grew to womanhood, and was married to J. N. Sprague; who preceeded her in death 11 years ago. To this union was born four children, two dying in infancy, the surviving children being Mrs.

Edith Haines, of Haddam and' Frank E. Sprague of Cuba, both being at her bedside several days before her death. he accepted the teachings of Jesus Christ early in life and always lived a true Christian life, and was loved and respected by all who knew her, and leaves besides her own family and relatives a host of loving friends.
