The Springfield Fire Insurance Co. settled the loss in full on the George L. Brown fire last Friday, just one week after the fire occur red. The insurance was $1200. This Springfield has the reputation of being the most prompt and liberal in adjusting their losses of any company doing business in this part of the state.
