Slaughter, three Fredonia men played with Fall River team- The game was very interesting, especially to a fielder who, just as he was going to catch the ball would have honey bee light on his beautiful little forehead and give him a kiss that he would remember. Mixed in with this pleasing sensation, a butter-fly would light on your eyebrow and keep the sun out of your eyes with its wings.

Oat of the runs that Fall River got, the Fredonia boys made six of them. Out of the eleven hits for Fall River, our boys cabbaged seven and made no errors. The above from the Fredonia Herald would indicate that the Fredonia boys gave a rather bias account of the game. R. O.

He exbects to be gone about two weeks. There was a wreck up at Augusta last Thursday night in which several cars were piled up.

In one car of lumber several harvest hands were riding, three of wnom were Kmea ana eleven in jured. We understand tbatjthree have since died of their injuries. Attorney General Fred S. Jackson made a speech here Monday evening- Owing the warm weather the meeting was held out of doors. Mr.

Jackson made a clean straight forward speech definitely outlining his position. A fair sized audience was in attendance. Don't forget that Dr. Phelan, the dentist, will be here again the first week in July, the 4th to the 10th inclusive- This is his regular date and you will do well to see him in regard to any dental work that you may need. A. F. Wilkinson went up to Wichita yesterday to testify in the investigation being conducted by the state against the Standard Oil Company. Frank Heins and daughter of Buffalo, Kansas, visited with his parents. Mr, and Mrs.

Fred Heins, the fore part of this week, returning home yesterday evening. Don't wait until they are nearly gone to see a dentist about those bad teeth. If taken in time, they can be saved See Dr. Phelan in regard to them next week. At Dr.
