Myers1 ad. Of all the fine Hereford herds in Marshal county, the Blue Valley Herd, owned by Cot- trell Bros, of Irving, is the largest. We spent several pleasant hours inspecting this great herd, which has always won its share of prizes wherever exhibited. This firm will advertise in The Journal in the near future, when a more complete write-up will appear. W.

We like The Journal very much. It is full of practical advice from practical men, which is the only sort of information that should be allowed to grace the pages of a swine journal. It is not the experience of men who are not engaged in the breeding and rearing of thoroughbred stock that we want, but the practical experience of those who are entrased in such a pursuit. We also appre of Chief Perfection 2nd, 21701; Bessie 51JJ2, Faultless Pride G1751, and Queen Look Here, sired by Chief Look Here, are some of his richly bred sows. Chief Look Here is one of the great est hogs we have seen this year.

Mr. Hostetler raised him from a pig. He is now owned by Cottrell Bros, of Irving. ciate the generous way in which your field notes are arranged.
