Willis and wife of Stark were down to Galesburg Saturday. One cannot please all. If he attempt it he will fail to please any. H. C.

Rambo and Clint Barley returned from the fair Monday. Mrs. H. A. Bluker returned from her visit to the Fair Sunday.

Mr. H. A. Wade of Papons was in Galesburg Saturday and Sunday Attempting much and doing little is a common cause of failure One should be proud of his ene niies. If you have noiie you are a failure.

A. B. Hiesey and E. N. Sharp returned from St.

Louis Tuesday morning. Verne Crockett was up from Parsons Sunday visiting relatives near this city. Andy Lmidoybarger spent Sun day night in Parsons returning Mocday morning. After having nice weather for several d.iys the murcury took a sudden drop Wednesday. E.

K. Davis will have a public sale at his home 2 miles Northeast of Galesburg Monday Oct. 81. Ethel Powell, who is in Parsons wns in the city Sunday she went to Parsonss in the evening. Mrs.

Lin a Stone came in Monday from Omaha, Nebraska. Tuesday to prosecute a case she has in court. The Dunkard brothers and sisters returned to their respective homes in Chanute and Parsons Sunday. Miss Rena Swank came up from Parsons Sunday morning to visit home folks, returning Sunday evening. Miss Lida Douglass of Girard is here visiting her brother Milton Douglas who lives southwest of the burg.

Miss Edith Smith, who had been visiting in the Excelsior neighborhood returned to her home in Chanute Monday, Wednesday where he will work in the interest of Poultry Success" He will not return before Christ mas. Uncle David Crockett returned from the Fair and his visit in the East last Friday morning. He re-ports a good time around his old home in Ohio, J. W. Wall.

Joseph Trammel living miles east of this city passed away Tuesday morning about eight o-clock after a very short illness and was buried in the Erie Cemetery. It is a sad affair to have a mother, the guiding star of a family taxen from a home where there are small children nsin this case. The Enterprise extends sympathy with the friends to the bereaved family who have sustained great loss. J. M.
