The congregations are good and the interest seems unabating. The Fairview people lack but $20 to pay complete, ly all bills made in the erection" of their new church. The congregations at both Fairview and Rolling Prairie are on the increase. Ladies' Aid; A little over three years ago we built a new church costing about $2,300, and on the day of dedication we had unpaid subscriptions amounting to $140; the church board standing good for the same, the house was dedicated. Nineteen dollars of that subscription was paid but the good women, not only of the church, but of the neighborhood, organized a Ladies' Aid for the purpose of helping pay the debt, and doing anything they could to help pay the incidental expenses of the church.

By their hard work they naid $121.25 of that old debt at the Clifton. The official board of the Sherman Church, a church in, the country, has adopted the envelope system, with weekly payments. The four claims for ministerial support and he incidental expenses of the church are to be raised in this way, and the experiment promises to be a success. Doughty. Every League should hive its full quota oi delegates. Send names of all delegates to Miss Florence Durkee, Frankfort, at once. of Africa was much appreciated by beginning of last winter they built those who heard it. The Sunday school and Epworth League together will take up the support of a pastor teacher in his field.

The Sherman Epworth League held its anniversary service in the afternoon at the preaching hour. a substantial wind break with solid hitching rack on each side, seven feet high and seventy feet long, costing about $32, they paid $21.31 of it. They put screens on the windows and door, costing $2 4, and they have on hand $9.89 as a starter on the sidewalks and painting the church and anything else their hands find to do. All credit to our noble women. The officers are Mrs.

Effie Fisher, President; Mrs. Frank Berrier, Secretary; Mrs. Margaret Dever, Treasurer. The pastor conducted an installation service and the hour was profitably spent. Morganville.

The missionary institute and con vention was a decided success here. The Epworth League is quite a factor in the church here, the attendance is good, the interest is good. Last year this League sent five delegates to the District Con vention, this year it will probably do the same or better. The League put the carpet and new organ in the church and are planning to assist wherever the church needs them tvipv Vinvt in tho treasury now rhe addresses were all good and the liscussions showed a real awakening in the cause of missions. Yes, we are rather proud of our 35 cents a member for Home Missions last year, when the Conference average was only.

32. Grover Hughes is the new president elect of Shiloh Epworth league. Miss Cora Caudwell has been rejected president, of the Morganville League. She has also been lected to teach in the Morganville for another year. Hrothers J.

C. Carson and D. T. I.awsou with the pastor attended he Conference Home Missionary onvention at Manhattan. Brother Elmer Arner is the new superintendent of the Morganville Sunday school.

Brother and Sister M. D. Arner started for Clifton June 1, expecting be gone most of the summer. Sister Henry Schneider, one of our new members, is spending the sum- about $15.
