Jolly TSbus iif sti Last Thursday, the members of Cawker City lodge No. 41 O. U. celebrated the seventh anniversary of the lodge, by a procession of workmen and select Knights on the streets in the afternoon, and at night, by a fine supper at the Gran Army Hall. The afternoon exercises were very tine, there being threo bands present, the Downs, Tipton and Cawker bands.

night the spacious hall was filled to its utmost capacity. Hon. F. J. Kelly made a fine speech, which'' was followed by a few statistical remarks by Master Workman J.

A. Pope, concerning the growth of the lodge. The vocal and instrumental music was excellent, but the Japaviese Fan Drill, by ten ladies was jnst too captivating, and had we been a single man and not so everlastingly old, and could have obtained the consent of the Royal Tycoon of Japan, we would marry everyone of those pretty Jap's and when we died, would leave them $2,000 each. The supper was beau- tif al and good, and it is said that over five hundred people satiated their apetites. Tne whole afiair reflects mu: credit on Cawker City Lodge, and it is pleasing to know that frater- nal ties? were fctrengthened, and that those who participated were benefitted.
