Pi London, Juno Midnight-King Edwurd's condition is even more satisfactory tonight than has been indicated by the last bulletin, lie has made a decided improvement and the feeling at Buckingham palace is very hopeful. His majesty is ablo to take nourishment. He had scrambled eggs and a little hock and soda this evening and with his own hands he opened several telegrams. The bulletin issued at 11 o'clock tonight is regarded as intensely satisfactory. This bulle a small scale, as it is impossible to get skilled workmen and new hands must be trained to the business.

The plant is in charge of Messrs. Peter Renner and Edward Keminerer and that they thoroughly understand their busi-ness is evidenced by the splendid ware already being turned out. The glass sand is brought here from near St. Louis and is mixed with other material, which is a secret of the trade, and then put in large pots in tho furnace and melted. The furnace here contains six pots, tho output of which when running full capacity will Statehood Next Winter.

Washington', D. June In a few minutes today the senate disposed for this session of the omnibus statehood question, which has been pending for scer- al days. Mr. (Ind.) tin is generally as being the chairm: which the man of the committee on first occasion on king Democrats. The Democrats named the ticket and it will go on the official ballot under the head of Democrat.

The Pops nominated the same ticket after the Democrats had done so, but it will not go on the oflicial ballot unless the anti-fusion law' is knocked out by the supreme court, which is unlikely, The Democrats have pledged themselves to help test the law. The big fight came up in the Populist convention, over the method of co-operation. Many of the Populist leaders wanted a split or zigzag ticket. Tht Democrats wanted one straight Democratic ticket to go on the ballot and a Populist ticket "to test the law with." The Democrats did some quiet work and won. The Populists were forced to "recommend" some Populists for the Democrats to fill out the Democratic ticket.

The Democrats nominated the Populists "recommended" by the Populists convention, and put them on the Democratic ticket. Then for "testing" purposes, the Populists nominated the same ticket LoxDpv, June 24. With dramatic suddenness the king has been stricken down upon the eve of his coronation, which linn been indefinitely postponed. Tonight ho lies in a critical state at Buckingham palace. In spite of the intensity of this tragic interruption, the lower element of London ard "Mafficking" through th fiag-decked streets, and a portion of society, in coronation gowns and jewels, has gathered at what is called a gala coronation dinner at one of the fashionable hotels.

Even at the gates of Buckingham palace, within which the ablest surgeons and physicians constantly remain in the hope of saving the sovereign's life, the tooting of horns the sound of other revelries can be plainly heard. The slim gathering which still remains beneath the flaring palace lights is now more bent on celebrating than on sympathizing-. Wagon loads of boisterous rowdies are on the streets; they are driving all sorts of vehicles and waving flags and hugging demi territories, announced that a report on the bill before the committee would be made on the thire day of the next session. This was satisfactory to Mr. Quay, who after securing an agreement that the committee's be several hundred dozen a day.

Every pot has its shop which works four people, two blowers and two helpers. The blower sticks one end of a hollow steel tube into the pot of moulten glass and draws forth enough to make the article of ware he desires. After rolling it upon a smooth report should be unfinished busi ness on and after the 101 of December until it was disposed of withdrew his motion to discharge doctors have allowed themselves to express, even to a small degree, the hopeful feelings they undoubtedly, even though privately, entertain. Thirty-six hours have now elapsed since the operation was performed and the absence of complications', creates hopefulness in all quarters, although, as has been frequently said in these dispatches, several days must pass before the possibility of danger can be eliminated. Notwithstanding the fact that this is the eve of the intended coronation day and that London is even more crowded with people than it was yesterday, the scenes witnessed on the streeis tonight were in marked and pleasant contrast with those of Tues the committee from further con sidcration of the measuie, West Falrview.

Jkfi'krson City, June The feature of the Republican convention here today was the strong indorsement of President Roosevelt and his administration.

Mr. Roosevelt was given a big para johns of liquor. They make their surface he begins the blowing. The red hot mixture assumes the shape of a soap bubble, and if it is clear and no defects are noticeable it is passed to the other blower who drops it into a mould and finishes the He then has a perfectly formed piece of glassware, except at the top where the bubble left the tube. From the mould the ware goes to a 40 foot oven, or lehr as it is called, and gradually cooled.

It must be admitted that the revelers have been misled by the technical language of the bulle-tines; they seem to have no conception of the gravity of King Edward's condition. It took some time to get everything in readiness and it was nearly eight o'clock when the shooting was done, but the the results justified the waiting as a stream of oil shot a hundred feet in the air and came with a force that nearly carried the derrick away.

King Edward is in a room facing the beautiful gardens of Buckingham palace and far from the street and the crowd. If tonight's progress is maintained, he will probably tide over the effects of his severe operation, which has successfully removed the local trouble. But should any complication occur, such as septic peritonitis, or poisoning, it is feared his majesty's present physicial and nervous condition would prove unequal to the strain involved. There is consequently intense anxiety a to the outcome.
