Kansas HISTORY OF THE TOWN. The growth of western Kansas forms plain that you cannot raise anything in Kansas, like you could back east. I know very well that where I came from you could not get a farm to cultivate in said manner, under no con sideration. Now let us all farm bettor, and not have the new comer to remark, that we so frequently hear, "why I don't think your land can be worth anything by the looks of some of the crops that I have noticed in passing o'er the country."
