If not, there will be many violations of the new law. Yesterday morning John L. Williams received word from his son, Edward, at Topeka, informing him that he had enlisted in the regular army again, and that he would leave Tuesday for Ohio where he will be assigned to his regiment. He has for three years, and may see services in the Philippines again, from which place he came only about two monthB ago. When a soldier goes to those islands he must serve at least two of three years there.

Ed expressed the opinion to some of his friends that he was through with soldering when he first came back, but later he told others that he was getting awfully homesick to see his old regiment again. In all probability he will not meet any of his former comrades, but he will have a good opportunity to form other friendships. It may be that he will remain in this countiy for the full three years, but is is hard to say. The W. I.

Tires should never be taken off to be shrunk. On the wheel is the only proper place to shrink them. Why Because it can be done a great deal quicker and much better with our Machine, as you do not have to measure the Wheel or tire.

You can pull it as tight as it should be, even to a hair's breadth. Bolts do not have to be removed from the Wheels, thereby adding to the life of the rim. by riot havin to make new holes after setting the Tire the old way. With this Machine too much dish in the wheels can be prevented, for the wheel stands upright before the operator, and you can tell to a certainty when the Tire is tight enough. This Machine does not spring any part of the wheel a particle.

It operates on the Tire only, and a finely painted carriage wheel leaves the Machine without a scratch or crack. After a Tire has been on a wheel for a length of time it becomes beded and fits where it is. Remove it, you do 3iot get it on with the same accurate fit on the wheel as before. With the House Cold Tire Setter this is unnecesssry. You shrink the Tire on the Wlieel, thus insuring good results.
