Miss Hahn is one of the most successful of teachers, and is intensely interested in her profession. Misses Belle Luse, Fannie and Sarah An Interesting Series of Entertainments. The series of entertainments held at the College building this week have been more than usually interesting. On Monday evening the first Quinquennial Ilecnion of students was held, this being the end of the first live years of the life of the institution. Many old students, whose school, days ended with their attendance at this college, gath eredhereto renew their acquaintance with those who were juniors when they were seniors.

The programme was substantially as announced in last week's Advocate, and we must say that every piece of music, and every elocutionary exercise, was well rendered, making this one of the most entertaining exhibitions by an A. B. society that ever witnessed.

The greater portion of the music was excellently rendered, and showed that their training in voice culture'' had not been neglected. Wednesday afternoon the commencement exercises were held. We should like to give an extended notice of the rendering of each one's part of the programme, but our limited space will not permit. B. F.

On Wednesday evening the students and visitors assembled for a final social. All enjoyed themselves until a late hour, each one dreading the signal for departure. But all things must have an ending, and the loving farewells of "college chums" were spoken at last. Most of the students departed for their homes Thursday morning, leaving those whose homes are here disconsolate and sorroful. His mother, brother and sisters have gone to Europe on a visit, and will be gone about a year. In the meantime the people here should treat Al very tenderly. Last Friday morning while Strohm's special cattle train was being loaded; he was walking backwards on top of a car, counting cattle, and forgetting where he was he stepped off the end of the car and fell to the track below, alighting with all his weight on one foot square on the iron rail. His foot was badly bruised and sprained, but he managed to keep up and hobble around.
