Cloud county announced twelve votes for L. J. Republic county announced twelve votes for H. H. Huffman.

Two successive votes followed with like results. Motion made and carried that delegates vote by ballot, and that Cloud county having but eight delegates present, Republic should bo restrained to8amo number of votes. Result of ballot. L. J.

Crans, received nine votes, and II. II. Huffman seven. L. J.
