AnONQ THE MASONS. The Place Concordia Chapter Officiates at Degree Work Here Last Night A Collection of Small News Found Today Among the Several County Officers Men's and Boy's Ivera lis. The oflicers of the Concordia Chapter came down and put on the Royal Arch Degree work for a team which was shown the mysteries of this degree last evening.

The East Sibley people who called on the commissioners yesterday to protest against moving the bridge on the McCarney road to a new site entered their protest and made a number of speeches, but without avail. The bridge will be moved. So far, the commissioners, sitting as a board of equelization, have ordered reductions in but six cases where complaints were made of excessive assessments. The bids for moving the bridge, 5jd the McCarney road to an new site were as follows: Canton Bridge John II. Sparks Midland Bridge $8,520: Western Bridge and Construction Juliet Bridge $8200; The Leavenworth Bridge did not bid seper-ately on this bridge and therefore their bid could not be considered as this bridge is being rcoved under a special act.

The Western Bridge Co. was the low bidder on the river bridge. On Milton vale and Buffalo township bridges the Canton Bridge Co. was the low bidder at 1498 on the first named bridge and $1748 on the last. The contracts were let to the low bidders as above.
