BANNER CITY. 1 DUSlUKbb, OUP rounding Country, Prospects, Banner City, a live little town on the Missouri Pacific railroad, in the part of Dickinson county, is really the origin of a necessity to the people of this region of country. Accordingly a number of citizens, together with the Berry Brq. The Badger Lumber company has a well arranged and fullv stocked yard east of the depot. Rev. B. F. Hills is the efficient and greatly beloved pastor. The music is excellent, preaching of a high order and the service in every way interesting.

They have a good Sunday school, and expect to build a good church this summer. This town or community is just tne place for good Lutherans to come to. The Lutherans here are an earnest and devoted people and will give you all a welcome. The United Brethern have a church a little west of the city. The church being located before the Banner City town site was laid out Their membership, is located all around the city, and they will doubtless in the course of time move the church into 'the city.

This churoh has a large membership, who are earnest in the cause pf the Master. Rev. M. C. Pas- uley is the pastor.

The Catholics have a new chtifch almost completed and a large membership. Rev. Father Lear is the officiating clergyman, and holds services the second Sunday 'in each mqpth. There is a numerous Irish Catholic coamttnity on the south of the M.anycf them are making good homes and doubtless would be glad more' their own people loeaUiiwith them, SCHOOL8 SCHOOL n0U8ES, All, around -tiis city are good schcols.and jn.theiicUy there will be a good school buildingiwceted this summer.
