'The great uprising and decisive action of the farmers, laborers, and Industrial' classes, is not occasioned by poor crops, nor unproductiveness of any kind. It is the sure and certain knowledge that has at lastdawnde on the minds of the farmers, that some one is talcing from them the profits of their labor, and is appropriating the substance that is the reward of manly industry, thus making the laborer poor and the trusts, the combines and the rich man more rich.

It is these glaring facts, that has caused all of the industrial classes to call a halt, and to inquire the cause of such unjust conditions, and after much study and deliberation, they have found that it was class legislation; the laws being in favor of the rich man enableing him to absorb the profits of the laborer, leaving only a bare pittance with which to buy the coifrsest of food for his family. Ingersol should read Mr. Blaine's glowing account of the increase of wealth in this country, in answer to Gladstone, before he makes any more such false assertions. The laboring people of this country are demanding a change in the officers elected, that there may be a change in the law-making power, so that the poor may stand an equal chance with and thus secure a share of the profits from their labors. As they could effect no change for their own benefit, by associating with either the old parties, they banded them selves together in Alliances, and commenced a crusade for justice and the right.

To accomplish this was the glorious uprising of the people. The flixed determination to work for the future good, and for the amelioration of the condition of the overburdened poor, makes the uprising populace rrow Stronger, and stronger, and their votes this fall, will cause the exultant shout, "down uroN the usurper of our Just share in the profits of OTJRLABOIl!
