The farmer can readily appreciate its significance, because his happiness, health and prosperity all depend large ly upon the vigor and persisten jy with which the weeding out process is car ried on. He must be constantly at it in order to make his busiuess pay. In herds and fhx-ks tne scrubs and runts must be wedded out, aud so tne same process goes on in every department ot farm work. Taking the term in its broadcast construction, it is. without doubt well worthy to become the watchword of every farmer who desires to reach the highest excellence as an agriculturist, and to reach the highest rewards for labor bestowed.
