When days are dark and friends are few, She has her troubles, same as you, Show her your lover is ever true; Tell her so. In days of old you praised her style, And spent much care to win her smile, 'Tis just as well now worth your while; Tell her so. There was a time you thought it bliss To get the favor of one kiss, A dozen now won't come amiss; Tell her so.

She'll return for each caress A hundred-fold of tenderness; Hearts like hers are made to bless; Tell her so. You are hers, and hers alone; Well you know she's all your own; Don't wait to "carve it on a stone;" Tell her so. Never let her heart grow cold; Richer beauties will unfold. To Financiers. Financiers, look out for your suspensions.

The Order depends much on its faithful Financiers in keeping down suspensions. In nine cases out of ten suspensions are the result of carelessness, and if the Financier will watch his list and or see the member, he will be glad to pay up. Remember that a permanent loss of two each month means twenty-four for the year. Then your Council would be depleted to the exent that it would take a good organizer four weeks with all the help he could get from the members to restore the Council to its previous membership while, if all members had been kept in good standing and then twenty-four new ones brought in, you would be 48 ahead over losing the number without getting the new members. Many faithful Financiers do excellent work, and through their work and attention to the interests of the Council and the Order, Council after Council sends in their report without a single suspension.

W. Resolutions of Condolence. When the publication of this paper was begun it was decided not to insert anything in the nature of resolutions of condolence. It is therefore, useless to send us anything of the kind for publication. Put such resolutions on your lodge records, in your Accident Claims Allowed No.

On account of the very unsatisfact ory results and the hardship of the general fund of the local councils, the A GOOD MOTTO "Better have it and not need it, than need it and not have it." This the motto of a certain accident insurance campany. It is a good one, and applies- to all kinds of insurance. Life insurance never fails when it is needed.

It is the one solid rock which humanity can rest, Executive Committee has made it a rule not to permit local councils or the members thereof to make any appeal MAKE IT PLAIN. No man is so poor he cannot pay for ife insurance, and the poorer he is he moro necessary it is that ho should Let everyone get one new member now. Just think what that will mean to the Order All can, but not all will. But let everyireader ba erne who will for aid, leaving the adjustment of all caaes of ne4 to ths council and have life insurance, Tcii 'cm tbt, 4.
