The girls also played and were defeated by a score of 5 to 1. The girls basket ball team is undecided as to what kind of suits to get. But they will probably make up their minds some time in the near future. Many were not present when the picture was taken this year as they were preparing for the basket ball game which followed. We hope to see A Close Game.

Last Monday afternoon the Cheney basket ball team came over to engage in a game with the local team. While some of our boys were in no condinion to play being rather badly crippled, they put up a great game. The score at the end of the first half stood 7 to 1 in favor of the locals, and at the end of the last half it was 12 to 12, making it necessary to play off the tie. This was done, Cheney winning by a score or 14 to 12. The teams were lined up as follows: CheneyHarris, Yarberry, Orr guards; Grett, center; Whitehead, Forbes, forwards.
