This must be done in order to save time and confusion. W. H. Carrenter. lie Ready The Boy Scouts will canvass the city of Marion Saturday morning, the 28th to collect contributions to the Belgian Relief supplies.

This is official Red Cross project, ration wide in its scope It is no garbage can affair, giving opportunity to dump a lot ot worthless accumla-tions. We are to send comfort, not junk. Select something warm and serviceable. Garments need not necessarily be in perfect repair but they should not be past easy redemption. The nearer ready-to-wear the better.

Clothing, bedding, shoes, stockings, socks etc, will be good. They are for men, women and children. No rubber material in any form. All writing and inscriptions of every sort must be avoided. We are, expected to have our packages in front of our houses in good shape when the Scouts call on Saturday morning this week.

This is patriotism. It is not charity. Belgium is shedding her blood, not old clothes, fir us. The Red Cross Chapter wilLmeet in the work room at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon in honor of the two young ladies who are going to Wichita to take training for Red Cross nurses, Misses Nina Revo and Lenore Carney. Attention There will be a meeting of the votors of The Cottonwood Valley Drainage District at the Court House Oct 4th P.

It is not with out extra effort and expense that we publish this' long list of Registrants, furnished us by the Local Draft Board of Marion County but we do it, that these registrants may have a correct official report and suggest that they file away the copy of The Marion Review issued on.
