8 THE WASHBURN Frank Whitney is in Chicago. W. B. Brown is studying law in Topeka. Wm.

Mason is traveling for a North Topeka firm. Chas. Welch has returned from Stockton to spend a few days in his father's law office. Julius Weidling is in the Kansas National bank. Miss Sarah Cowgill is in Moody's Institute in Chicago.

Miss Mattie Newell is attending the State Normal summer school. Axtell is playing tennis, carrying Journals, and other things. Dick Kropf is stepping on clods at Belvoir. Lawson started to Tuxtepec, where the Topeka colony was founded, but will wait in Hutchinson until the fever scare is over. McClintock is practicing law in Topeka, corner 6th and Kansas avenue.

Dolman is a lawyer in Topeka. Wm. Newlin married Miss Alta Hadley and now lives near Hutchinson. Arthur Stone has part control of a large zinc and lead mine near Galena, Kansas. Turk Storrs is studying medicine in Topeka.

Joel Harper is preaching in Oklahoma. Miss Carrie Wood is teaching near Elmdale. Fred Bonebrake is in the Central National bank of Topeka. Delbert Cram has been in Moody's Institute. Frank Morey is in the Merchants National bank, of Kansas City, Mo.

Eugene Smith says he is going to leave newspaper work and enter politics. Frank Whitman has been two years in West Point. Lo uis Breck is becoming quite a dentist. Eugene Frowe graduated from the Kansas State Agricultural college and may finish his education in Washburn. Harvey is living near Topeka, on a farm.

Bob. Pearson is an express agent on the Santa Fe route. Fred Vesper is in the bicycle business in Topeka. Mrs. Ada Barnes-Tracy is living in Wamego.

Miss Myrtle Kinne is at home in Alma. IID-CONTINENT. Miss Eunice Foster is studying medicine in Washington, D. C. Jay Montgomery is in the Santa Fe general offices at Topeka.

Chas. Brinkman is in the bank at Great Bend. George Crawford has been in Yale. Theo. Hammatt graduated from Williams College, with special honors as left fielder in base ball team.

Miss Myrtle Moore is spending many enjoying years at K. U. Charles Kleinhans has been out of the store resting during the hot weather. Ellsworth Ingalls "laws" in Atchison. Miss Lillian Tefft has spent the summer in Topeka.

Morton Snow drank Manitou "iron water" for a month. Harry Pomeroy is proprietor of the best bakery and confectionery store in Westmoreland. Guy Foster has increased his Oklahoma congregation by an addition to his own family. The Misses Moon, between Topeka and Hiawatha society, have managed to pass the summer. Miss Flora Garlick, '9i-'92, who has been teaching in Salt Lake City, is spending her vacation at her home in Kansas City, Kas.

Mrs. Bertha Price, '90, is teaching in the city schools at Phoenix, Ariz. Miss Eunice Lyman is resting this summer and preparing to travel in Europe next year. Miss Anna Jones is living at home, at Lebo, Kas. Miss Jessie Crowell is at home in Paola, and will spend a week with Miss Tucker, in Eureka.

Miss Otie Pickrell, '89, has just returned from Camp Chigre, near Ottawa. Miss Lulu Forbes, '90, is continuing her music at home, in Ottawa. Misses Ella and Ada Pixley have been at home on their father's big fruit farm near Wamego. Henry Burt has been plowing corn and pitching hay. He'll have some Wabaunsee seeds to comb from his hair before he can come back this fall.

The first two weeks after school closed, Gould visited all the colleges in Kansas on business for the Capital. Then spent two weeks in the mountains near Manitou, and has since been traveling for the College..
