Taylor officiating. i At Rest. Charles Kline was born in Germany June 25, 1841, and died at hia daughter's home one mile west of Elk, Kansas, July 7, 1907. He came to this country when 18 years of age. He leaves a family of ten children, three boys and seven girls, Funeral services were held on July 8 and interment was made in the Marion cemetery.

C. H. Taylor officiated. Bank Directors Meeting. The semi-annual meeting of the Directors of the Lincolnville State Bank was held Tuesday afternoon with the following Directors present: Henry Buethe, John S.

Symes, G. II. Wight, H. A. Kobel, H.

W. Tiemeier and F. A. Smith. The financial condition of the bank was found to be good and it was voted to transfer $800 from the profit to surplus account.
