"The Flower of the North," a Vitagraph Super-Special from the James Oliver Curwood famous novel, will be shown at the Beach-tel Tneatre tonight (Wednesday) and Thursday night. This is one r)of the big picture specials and is deserving 'of a full house both nights. Admission 10c for children and 25c for adults. The beautiful spring-like weather Sunday and Monday brought out the golfers in large numbers, and some mighty good scores were made. Next year it will surprise us if Clyde doesn't have were made.

Among the busy places in Clyde during the holiday season was the post-office, and Postmaster Murphy and his assistant, Miss Ruth Davis, deserve much praise for the efficient manner in which they handled the business. Mr.

Murphy says it was the largest business since his career in the office. The rural carriers also come in for their share of the credit in handling the hundreds of packages assigned to their different routes. The boys had to serve their routes Christmas Day, but they will be allowed to observe New Year'3 as a holiday, so you don't need to look for the mail man next Monday. The mail carriers between the depots and postoffice also come in for their share of grief during the holiday rush, as the transfer business is immense. Sunday morning while sitting all alone thinking God and all friends had forgotten her, Mrs.

Berkman was surprised by all of her children who live close coming in with big baskets and lots of beautiful presents; also the children in Texas remembered her with beautiful presents, and the daughter in Oregon with a beautiful bouquet of everlasting flowers, and also other presents. Then Christmas morning Mrs. Bechtel drove up in her car with everything to make a nice Christmas dinner. All the neighbors and others from town also remembered her with little tckena of cheer and good will. She wishes to thank all who remembered her and asks God's blessing cn them.

the Christian church Sunday evening, by the Sunday School classes, and it was a well planned entertainment, and each part of the program was carried out to perfection. The vocal and instrumental music was excellent, and the children did fine with their part of the entertainment. In one corner of the church was a huge Christmas tree loaded with presents. Each member of the Sunday school received a treat. All the other churches of the town held a similar program and the Sunday School classes were given treats.
