Charley and James Baily and Bogo Wilson, who live a few miles of hero, started, as their Parits supposed, to church in Chase on horseback, but as they did not re turn at night it was found next day that they had not been to Chase at all, and Baily telegraphed all over the country to have them stopped.

On Tuesday he received word that they were in custody at Dodge City, and he took the first train for that place, The boys were between the ago of 16 and 18 years, On Monday evening, Hon. Albert Griflin, of Manhattan, addressed a Republican audience at this place, Owing to the brief notice of the meeting, the audience was not as large as could be desired, but w.m mw1 considering the circumstances. About 85 members of the Lyons Blaine and Logan club were present, and gave a short ilrill after the meeting. Their evolutions were superb, and show careful attention and practice. The State Central Committee should give us longer notice of their intention to send speakers to this place, and wo will show as large an attendance as any place of the size in the county.
