The Andale Globe 13 Number 4 Andale, Sedgwick County, Kansas, Sept. 14, 1922 $1.50 Per Year. Published Every Thursday The extreme hot weather suffered: a relapse last Saturday evening when a little shower visited this section, cooling things off to some extent and giving people a chance to regain their breath. Hot winds last week made life almost unbearable and seriously damaged what late corn there was. The majority of the corn in this vicinity, according to a number of the farmers, was pretty well matured and the drouth and hot winds did little damage.

Of course the last cutting of alfalfa does not amount to so very much, but this section is indeed fortunate in escaping gevere damage from the drouth. Field work is being held up and fall plowing is not progressing as rapidly as it should, but all in this section is not damaged as seriously as other places. The result of Sunday's game between Andale and Colwich ended with a score of 8 to 13 in favor of Colwich. The game was well played and the home run by Ray Jaax, with two men on bases was a feature of the game. Next Sunday Andale will go to Mt.

Hope where another wild game will be staged. W. E. Stanley, Fred L. Bell, Fred Horn, Chet.
