This is the week of weeks for the mi esters of Southwest Kansas Conf. We meet after a year of joys and sorrows, victorys and defeats, and fellowship and plan for the en arging of our work for the Kingdom of God. The ministerial fraternity is one of the greatest on earth. This is our week of weeks. We will be glad to see any who can attend confer-ance at ST Paul's M.E.

Crawford's men's class will conduct the evening service. Come and help by your interest and presence. The E. League will conduct a trip around the world; they will make six stops and eujoy sight seeing trips. These stops will be made in India, China Korea Japan, P.

There has been some argument among the seniors as to whether they take the senior play away from home and put it on or not. This spring weather is making some of the students feel funny, so they say. B. H. S- was held back from basket ball on account of no place to play. How about track? Let's all pull one way forward, and work out a winning team this year. The seniors have had a number of meetings lately.

Recent Gift of $100,000 Made to Complete the Transcontinental Thoroughfare. With a recent gift of $100,000 it is announced that two Nevada stretches of the Lincoln highway will be improved, thus filling the last gap in the first American transcontinental highway. It is sentiment of the donor that the work should properly be done by the state and federal governments, but be is glad to make a personal sacrifice that the finished road may be presented to' the American people as an object lesson. It is felt that the greatest value of this pioneer highway lies in its educative value for the general public.
