L. Schwerdtfeger came home Wednesday to remain until Christmas. J. W. Tuttle is home from his Texas trip.

He bought land in that state. Mrs. J. Erhard is visiting her sister, Mrs. Walker, at Greenleaf, this week.

Mr. Fred Matthews, of Kimeo, met with a serious accident on Wednesday, getting his hand fast in a feed grinder, badly lacerating and mashing his fingers and hand. Pox. Mr. Walter Thomas, of Billings formerly of Linn, is visiting relatives in this vicinity. A moving picture show was given at the Fox school house Monday night. On account of some trouble with the machine the pictures were not as good as they otherwise would have been.

Miss Josephine Cleavenger visited home folks over Sunday. T. S. Browning finished corn husking Monday. Claud Mickel and Bert Horner are now husking for Guy Hauken-berry.

Grandma Lidy, of Barnes, came up Saturday to spend the winter with her daughter, Mrs. A. A. Karns. The little Misses Zola Laird and Gertrude Deidricht are out of school on account of sickness.

While shelling corn for P. A. Lupher Tuesday, Mr. C. Cole and Geo.
