As I saw nothing from Hepler last week I thought I would write a few items this week. Mr. Win. Won made a business trip to Ft. Scott yesterday.

I have ordered a lot of Sweet Potatoes to bed. and will have all varieties for sale. Frank Loomis. The supper given Wednesday evening by the ladies of the M. church was a decided succes, both ti-nancialy and socially.

They had an excellent supper and a goodly number of our citizens partook of the good things prepared for them. The proceeds were about all of which was clear, as everyth'ng for the supper was donated. Last Monday morning a barber by the name of Cayton, at work in the Commercal house shop, left town very unexpectedly ami without telling anyone where ho. was going.
