They will be at home in Preston after December 10. James Stone and wife and two children of Oklahoma were in this vicinity Monday calling on old neighbors and friends.

The social last Friday night was well attended. Quite a number from Burlington were present and Col. Johnson sold the boxes. Frank Arnold and Mrs. Hunt of Crotty.

Pine wintar weather we have had. Mrs. J. N- Gray spent Monday with the Mentzer families. Mrs.

May Wise went to Crandall Thursday to visit relatives. Mr9. Jeunie Christy ahd Willie spent Sunday with Mrs. Mable Gillett and family. Several from this neighborhood went to Orandall Tuesday for John Wise's funeral.

The revival aueetings began at Crotty Monday evening, December 6. Everyone is invited. Lant Friday John Hills helped Jim Cokoley move some things to the place he has rented west of Gridley. The Pie Social at the Methodist church Friday night was well attended. The proceeds were $11.25.
