Noe drew a tub of water out of his well Saturday evening for his horse but the animal refused to drink it, then Charley became, curious to know what was the matter and alter an investigation found that there was something floating over the water which looked a little like grease, he touched a match it and the blaze Hashed up several feet and hunird some minutes killing leaves on a tree which stood neaiby for almost ten feet high and the blaze was hut enough to force the spectators back several fret.

He drew as high as fifty buckets of water out of the weil and every bucket would have moie or less gasoline, though leaving the water stand in the well for a while the first bucket full would be the nchet.
