F. Whicker officiating. This was a very quiet home affair. A few of the friends were present. The bride has lived in and near Caldwell for mpny years and is known and loved by all.

Mr. Williams used to be a well known farmer boy West of Caldwell but now resides st Gage, Okla. The bride was dressed in a beautiful lavender, while the groom wore the conventional black, A very beautiful wedding march was rendered by Mias Delores Wogoman of this city. After the ceremony the guests were invited into dinner which was well prepared by the bride's mother. The young couple left st 12:30 for their new home in Okla.

Their many friends wish them a long and perous married life. The Mulhall family are again in the limelight, Charley Mulball, aged 20 recently ran away with a girl of 14 and two of his father's best horsee. You can't keep a good man down. At the residence of Rev. Stickel, pastor of the Baptist church in Well-: ington, Mr.

Thomas B. Barge Santa Fe. Conductor and Nealie H. Burge of Caldwell, Kans. They will make their home in Wellington.

Entertained. The Senior classes of 1908 and 09 were very pleasantly entertained Saturday evening at the bome of Mrs. Twilliger by Miss Hoge in honor of her sister Miss Maude Hoge of Wellington. The evening was passed in playing various games, after which a dainty three course lunch was served. The hostess was assisted in serving by Miss Nellie Roberts.

Those present were: Mrs, Twilliger, Misses Hoge, Roberta, Maude Hoge, Viola Doubleday. Lsura Jones, Nettie Bailey, True Newby, Minnie Van Danacker, Alice Richmond, Ora Naylor, and Edith Quinlisk, Messers Pete Nyce and Bert Twilliger, Queenie Clark returned Sunday morning from her eastern visit. Mr. and Mrs. John Neal are the proud parents of a baby boy born last Monday morning.

William Fossett, an old time Caldwell man has been appointed chief of the secret service bureau of the Rock Island. He is an uncle of C. S. Fossett of this city. Notice, I will not be responsible for any debts incurred by Mrs.

J. Collins returned Monday from Cheney, Kas, where she was called about two weeks ago on account of the serious illness of her grandson, Lee Johnson.
