Briefly Stated the Business to Be Pursued Is as Follows: It a well known fart that, since the opening of the National Campaign, the bankers of New York and London, fearing that in ease the Treasury was depleted of its "Gold Reserve" on the eve of the electioi it would endanger the elaction of Wm. MeKinley, to prevent such depletion thev have been depositing gold with the Secretary of the Treasury, receiving in exchange therefor "United States Notes," with the intention, in the event of MeKinley's elec-ilon, of presenting these notes for redemption in old, thereby depleting the Treasury of its old Kesrve" and or Je another sale of bonds It being certain that if MeKinley is eleoted there will be other sales of bonds. It is the purpose of this company to buy these bonds as a Thecapital stock of this company will be sufficient for this purpose, as the only actual Investment necessary to be made will be postage stamps and stationery to correspond with the Secretary of the Treasury and place its Mds on file In his office.

The Voice is in receipt of the wedding card of Mr. Homer S. Chambers and Miss Villa Lenora Lawrence. They were married October 7tb, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Wm. H. Lawrence, in Guelph township. The groom lives at Alert O. where they will be at home after the 15th.

The Voice is glad to have the opportunity of congratulating this worthy couple. The Baptist church was crowded last night, the occassion being a sermon for the old people by Rev. Doughty. The old peopie were out in force and were given the post of honor. Rev.

Doughty sang a splendid solo, "Don't Forget the Old Folks," and preached an appropriate as well as a very excellent sermon. T'he C. E. society presented, each one of the old folksa bouquet, witji their compliments. Buggies were sent after many and the old people were gathered in from every quarter.

James Grifflce, son of J. M. Griffice of this city, was married at Kansas City recently. The marshal arrested seven boys Saturday evening, who were found shooting craps. Some of the witnesses in the Os-born-Graff case came down from Belle Plalne last night.
