Civil service reform is a big thing on wheels. The Methodist church will be enlarged by the addition of rooms for Sunday School purpose, the sup-erintendant, Mr. Nicolay, having proposed to give five hundred dollars more than half the cost toward the improvement. The frame buildings on Cedar street, between the National Bank and Third Street are being moved away and a three story brick block four rooms on first floor will be built. A three story block will also be built on the Eicholtz corner, making a three story block on each of the four corners.
