Will Brown went to Wichita, Saturday, to purchase supplies for the electric light system. E. L. Smith went to Finney county, Sunday, to look at the Floyd Helfin land with a view to trading his land here for same. Scott McCormick went up to Camp Carlisle, Saturday afternoon, to take a load of young girls for an outing.

Mrs. John Epley left, Monday for Hooker, Oklahoma, called there by the serious illness of her daughter, Mrs. Davis. S. W.

Deist and daughter, Helen, who had been here for two weeks visiting at the home of Rev. and Mrs. H. T. Purcell left, Thursday of last week, for their home at Arkansas City, Among the Iuka people who attended the show at Pratt last Saturday night were Mr.

G. Boughner and children, Louise and Charles, made a trip by the auto route to Meade county, Saturday. They took dinner that day with Mack Gobin and family at Minneola, and from there they went to the home of Carl Allen and wife. at Plains, and to the homes of Walter and Frank Helsel, at Meade. They returned, Monday, stopping to call on Harry Gobins', but they were not at home.

Curtis-Cates 4 Sunday morning, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Curtis, near Byers, occured the marriage of their daughter, Myrtle, and Weslie Cates, of Byers, Rev. H. T.

Mrs. JosieLala, of Woodston, Kansas, and Mrs. Anna Dolezal, of Gorham, Kansas, who had been here during the illness and death of their sister, Mrs. Frank Udry, returned, Wednesday, to their homes. Verna Boughner and Will Keller were married at Stafford last Sunday The bride is a daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Chas. Boughner and niece of G. Bonghner Clint Mott dropped into our sanctum one day this week and ordered The Tribune sent to his home. While here he remarked that he had finished threshing and that he was more than pleased with the yield.
