B. Mott home. if lrl IN I 3 For Short ii Died Monday January 3, 1916, at her home seven miles northwest, of Iuka, Mrs. Daniel Hacker, aged sixy-six years, two months and twenty-five days. Cinda Grady was born in Onio, October 1849, and later moved with her parents as pioneers to Iowa.

She was united in marriage with Da.ial Hacker January 16, 1870, and to this urnon were born two daughters ani five sons. One son ing in infancy They came to Kansas in the days of the i ioneer and settled in Pratt county some thirty years ago. The six children were with her at the time of death. Mrs. Hacker became a Christian in 1892 and has since been a faithful member of the Church of Christ la Iukh.

Her last illness is brief lasting-only about two week. She seemed to realize her condition and that her time of death was near. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, two daughters and four sons, besides a host of friends and neighbors. Funeral services were held at the Christian church here at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev Horn, of the Christian church of Pratt, delivering the sermon Intel ment was made in the Iuka cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Del Craig and family, Misses Stella Abram and Kake Tillery and Essie Cox visited at R. H. Tremain 's, Sunday.
