So far the wound has not proven fatal. A. B. Harvey who waB here Saturday thinks Lester will recover. The ball ranged downward from the tem-plo and is looated in behind the oheek bone.

Uirlhdtty I'any. Wednesday August Ulst was the 11th birthday anniversary of Nora Stone, and a number of her young friends joined with her that day and had a merry good time. Those present from town were Narma and Mabel Kathrens, Ethel Amann, Ethel AbramsoD, Graoe Ham field, Leota and Hazel Best, Nellie and Vera Hale, Julia and Grace Kckert, and Flossie Beyer. The ride of two miles in the country in Sumner's big lumber wagon was lots of fun for the little folks.
