--Conditions of Spiritual Growth Job. 8, 11. The pastor is greatly encouraged with the interest shown in the Wed. night prayer-meetings. The interest seemed to be unusually good through the month of July.

The prayer meeting is a true spiritual thermometer, testing the warmth or coldness of the church. As good as our prayer-meetings are, they can and ought to be made better. How can this be done? We can have better prayer-meetings by observing the following suggestions. 1. Let those accustomed to come, attend regularly.

Bad weather wont injure healthy persons if they are well protected. 2. Let moke of the church members attend. There is inspiration in large numbers in a prayer-meeting. None are justified in staying away unless there are good reasons for not coming.

3. Let each one think of the topic and read the scripture reference before coming. The pastor will publish the topics each month. 4. There should be more promptness in taking part in the services.

5. More persons should engage K. Keyes, Lona Kipp, Mrs. Lucretia Klockman, Dora 709 stairs Leonora Klostermeier, Maggie 825 Mound Kuehner, Maggie 808 Kans. Ave (TO BE CONTINUED.) Sunday School Rsport for July.

'Let each member of the church lift up his heart in secret prayer to God for the success of the meeting, when he hears the first bell, ring on Wed. evening, and let him do this, Challiss.
