ORDINANCE No. 52. City of Miltonvale Cloud County, Kansas 1 (Be it Ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Miltouvale, County oj Cloud, State of Kansas. Section, 1. That the owner or owners of property abutting on Stan Avenue of said city shall build a sidewalk in front of said property.

Commencing at the 6outh side of Railroad street at the intersection of Starr Avenue, and running south on the cast side of Starr Avenue to the side of south first street. Sec, 2. Said sidewalk to be built in the same manner and according to sections two (2) and three (3) of Ordinance number 29, in Ordinance book, page 108, and 109. Sec. 3.

While Mr. Burress differs somewhat in politics from the Chieftain's standpoint, yet he gives us credit for truthfulness, and a desire to better the condition of the people. Thoma3 Francis' son, Sammy, met with an unfortunate accident Tuesday evening while unloading ice from a wagon, a large cake fell upon him and fractured a bone in his leg.
