J. Orten met with an accident. While coming down a bad hill their buggy upset, the top was broken off. and occupants thrown in the mud, but not hurt- The horse ran with the buggy to, they knew not where or which way it went; they were picked up by a kind friend and brought to town; the horse was found later at George Brown's place east of town. On leaving the Custer home, in a buggy Sunday afternoon, Elmer Wigington, being accompanied by the Misses Maude Custer and Mary Flora, the horse, a spirited animal took fright and ran aay. In making a sudden turn, the buggy was turned over.

Elmer was not injured but Miss Flora's arm was fractured and Miss -Custer's ankle sprained.
