He was brought to the Ross Ave. Hotel to be cared for, a short timo after the accident happened, but he died at Monday noon and was buried on Tuesday. He was about fifty years old. Drs. Van Eaton and McLaughlin attended him but could do nothing for him.

John Whitesell met with a serious accident Tuesday evening while driving home from Clearwater. The seem to be these: John Whitesell, Wm. Leseman and Malcom were driving along in the orde.i named. Malcom wanted to drive a little faster and undertook to pass Leseman. Lese-man's team started up rather lively and by some means ran into Whitesell's wagon, throwing the box off and the driver with it.

Whitesell's leg was broken above the knee.
