Mable Strickler and her mother Mrs. Kennedy were Alma visitors Monday. Mr. Larison left Monday night for McDonald Kansas. We hope he will like his new home.

The new comers who bought Mr. Larison's place are moving in this week. Mable Strickler left Tuesday morning for Tweed, Kansas, where her mother expects to farm. Will Farr has been doing some blacksmithing getting ready to go to his spring work but we think he will wait awhile. Mr.

Hall was out Monday looking after some of the phones on the bell line. Mrs. Frank Kiser and Sadie Frazee expect to go down in Kansas to see Mrs. Riser's mother Tuesday. The Barnes brothers have moved to their new home.

Mr. Ziegler sold his cattle to Sheridan Williams. Mrs. Zeigler's sister from Texas has come up to see her father Mr. Moore who is very sick.

Steve Jenkins of Alma went to Almena one day last week. Frank Morris and wife moved on the Joe Alter farm south of Alma last week. Mr. and Mrs. E.

Kiser were Alma visitors Friday. John Schrack's have moved on the old Moore farm south of Alma. John Gipe and family moved on Mrs. Darling's farm last week. Last Saturday, when it was so snowy, a certain person came to town and his folks thought him to be snowed under, because he stayed most of the day, but perhaps if they had phoned to Bostwick's they would have found him.

S. Williams and wife of Alma were in the city the latter part of last week. Geo. Wertz returned to the ranch Saturday morning, from St. Joe, where he has been visiting his family for some time.

Wm. Kiser and daughter. Birdie, spent Thursday with Mr. Riser's brother at Long Island. Miss Sadie Frazee, of Republican City gave an entertainment at her school March 11.
