Heiney returned from Topeka a few days ago, where he had been to consult the State Superintendent of Schools regarding the best methods of procedure in getting the new rural high school building proposition before the people. Petitions are being circulated requesting the high school board to call for an election to vjflte bends in the sum of $15,000, fa the erection of a new high school building. We understand' there is different opinions among various patrons of the school district. While all are in favor of a new building, some would favor the money being raided by a special tax rather than by the sale of bonds. There is not much difference, yet we believe the bond issue would be less complicated and quicker.

In voting for a new court house in Sheridan county last fall both propositions were on the ticket, special tax winnin over the bond Time is precious and we hoje before the next issue of our the election will have been called.
