Pete Weire has finished thresh-' ing around Campus and is now threshing for W. J. Davenport. Elmer Rickley, Mary Struckoff, Merl, Ada and Jess Mallory all attended the dance at Oakley Saturday night. A.

G. Triplett left Thursday to fill his new position with the Kansas City Wholesale Grocers. His run is from Ellis to Salina. Miss Merl Mallory is visiting heir sister, Mrs. John week she will visit another sister, Mrs.

Ethel Nickelson, at Kingman. Merl sure deserves a rest. Misses Mary Struckoff and Mabel Rickley went to Oakley Thursday to have some dental work done. Fronie Beckman went there Friday for the same purpose. Wm.

Sidles received a message Sunday morning from his wife stating that her mother, Mrs. Wilkerson, was dead. Fred Robertson, United States district attorney, has filed information against Montgomery Ward which resulted in an indictment by the grand jury at the January term in session at Kansas City. The indictment was returned against the company for making an interstate shipment of alcohol without properly labeling it. Two separate offenses are charged against the mail order company.

J. Sherman's Sunday. Little Fletcher Montgomery had his arm badly hurt Saturday evening by falling from a small stack of hay; causing him much pain and now he is carrying said member in a "sling."
