Kenton was born near Gefmantown. in Rracken county, Kentucky, January 1820, died October 4, at the family home, three miles north of Raymond, Rice county, Kansas, at ttie advanced age of 81 years, 8 moths and 4 daysi; He spent his early life 'on the farm where he was horn. Lindsey Adams spent several days this week in the soul hern part of the state on a combined business and pleasure trip. Mrs. F. II. Foster drove up from Mitchell last Sunday afternoon and visited with home folks until the following day.
