The concert gave general satisfaction. As the audience passed out nothing but expressions of unqualified approval was heard from the people and also from our best educated musicians. Miss Kate Bensburg the prima donnu soprano made a most favorable impression. She possesses a clear, full, highly cultivated voice, and sings with much taste and expression. She is easy in her stage presence, and so soon as she appeared became a favorite with the audience.

The waltz from Borneo and Juliet was admirably sung, receiving an encore which Miss Bensberg answered by singing beautiful "Home SAveet Home" Miss Louise Engel, the contralto has an excellent voice, of fine compass and is a very sweet singer.
