D. Williams living one half mile south of Arcadia, one night last week had stolen from his poultry house three hundred chickens. These chickens were full blooded and the theft of so large a number was quite a loss to Mr. and Mrs. William.

The law in the state of Kansas makes it a felon for any one to steal chickens in the night, and any party proven guilty of such a crime will be sent to the penitentiary.
