ECHOES OF THE CLASS OF '15. (Written by Doris DeLap, 15). Earl Grosdidier, Editor-in-chief of the Optimist last year, is attending Leland Stanford at Palo Alto, Cal. He still debates, but not on such insignificant subjects as, "The Literacy Test." Recently he took the negative side of the question, "Resolved, that whiskers are of more advantage in 'queening' than bald heads." He is thinking of taking a position, next summer, on a boat going to the Philippines and South America. Hester Leslie is stenographer for Ralph Pfouts, the lawyer, and he insists that she spends most of her time talking over the telephone.

Sam Miller has simply "rolled" to fame and glory since leaving A. H. S. He supplies the Midland girls with peanuts, just as he did at High School. Mildred Eaton is staying at home this winter, filling the "Despair" box she made in Manual Training last year.

Venita Casey is studying music and Domestic Science. The music course is a mere blind. Genevra Adams, Betty Chandler and Irwin Kaiser are attending Baker University at Baldwin, Kansas. They are expected home for the holidays. Mildred Myers is at Midland and is still the same old "Jimmy." Inez Kleiner has moved to St.

Joe. George Kassabaum is attending Midland, but his heart is not in his work. It is such a long time from one Sunday to the next Friday night..
