One by One Our Pioneers Are Called Home. We are again called upon to chronical the death of another one of our old and honored pioneers. Uncle Charley Linquist, as he was called, closed his eyes jo that last peaceful sleep and bade farewell to his earthly last Mouday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Nothing we could say would heal the wound that his death has caused in the bearts of the aged wife and mother and eight children that are left to mourn bis departure. Time alone can heal the wound.

He was a kind husband and father and had the confidence and respect of all who knew him. He was born in Sweden in 183y and came to America with bis family In 1865, first settling in Illinois where he remained for ten years. In 1875, he moved on westward and settled on the farm where he lived until his death. He leaves a devoted wife and eight children, three boys and five girls be sides a host of relatives and friends to mourn bis death. The children are; Mrs.

Lander, Misses Emma and Della Linquist, Messrs. August, Elmer and Ed Linquist, Funeral services were held at the M. E. chureb, Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Brakebill, and the remains, were consigned to their last resting place in the Glamor cemetery.

Don't carry any culls into the winter, but dispose of them at once, for the space and feed are needed for the better birds. Gire fresh and clean water to the fowle each day and especially let the first drink in the morning be clean water.
