Pattee was born Nov. 20, 1826, at Longuil, Upper Canada, where his boyhood was passed far from schools and churches. In his long service as a minister he held pastorates in New York, Geneva, 0 Waterford, in Wisconsin, Kansas and on the Pacific coast.

His last regular pastorate was at Cherryvale, Kansas. Rev. Pattee was married July 3, 1850, to Miss Harriet E. McLean. He is survived by three children, Elmer Pattee of Paris, an artist; Wilbur Pattee of Davenport, a musician, and Frank A.
