Services in Cleburne in the evening at sever The text is II Peter 1: 19, 21 and subject of sermon "The Word of Prophecy." The most important characteristic trait while we are on this earth, humanly speaking, is to be religious. The most important thing to be for time and eternty is to be right with God.

To be this we must hear Jesus, His Son, and let him be our Lord and Master. If anyone is spiritually asleep he needs to be roused from his slumber and if awake, he needs and craves spiritual nourishment. We invite all to come to our services, but especially those who have no other spiritual home and who want to worship with us. We want to do good unto those who come. We want to be we are concerned about the eternal welfare of souls.

We need God's word and the meditation of it and the guidance of God's Holy Spirit. Christmas is very near. That Jesus Christ was born is the great reason for joy and happiness on earth. We must not, as Christian people, permit anything to detract from or hide away or take the place of Jesus the Christ Child at Christmas. CARL E.
